Erika Gonzalez was appointed by the City Council to serve as the City Clerk of the City of Miami Springs with an official start date of April 1, 2014. Ms. Gonzalez previously served as the City Clerk of the Town of Southwest Ranches from 2011 to 2014. Prior to her appointment as Town Clerk to Southwest Ranches, she served as the first Town Clerk in the Town of Cutler Bay from 2006-2010. Ms. Gonzalez is a graduate of Florida International University (Miami, Florida) with a Bachelor of Business Administration (2004). She recently has been designated as a Master Municipal Clerk (MMC).  Ms. Gonzalez is a member of the Florida Association of City Clerks where she served on several committees from 2011 to 2015.  She was a member of the Broward County Municipal Clerks Association and served as the Chair to the By-laws Committee, she is an active member of the Miami-Dade County Municipal Clerks Association, International Institute of Municipal Clerks, and the Association of Records Managers and Administrators.
