NW 36 St Roadwork Closures Continue

NW 36 Street from west of NW 74 Avenue to Okeechobee Rd. -  Lanes and some sidewalks will be closed on NW 36 Street from NW 74 Avenue to Okeechobee Rd. for the next several months for roadwork. At least two lanes will remain open in each direction at all times. Drivers should follow all posted signs and travel through the area with caution. Delays are expected. Pedestrians will be directed by signage which sidewalks are open.

Beginning on Sunday, March 9, access to westbound NW 36 Street, from State Road (SR) 112/Airport Expressway, will be completely closed and traffic will be detoured until further notice. During these closures, the following detour will be in effect:

Drivers who want to exit SR 112 at NW 36 Street should continue westbound on SR 112 to NW 42 Avenue/Le Jeune Road, go south on NW 42 Avenue/Le Jeune road to NW 28 Street, go east on NW 28 Street to NW 40 Avenue, go north on NW 40 Avenue to NW 29 Street, go west on NW 29 Street to NW 42 Avenue/Le Jeune Road and continue forward to NW 36 Street.

NIGHTTIME BRIDGE CLOSURES EXTENDED

All lanes on the NW 36 Street bridge between Le Jeune Road and Okeechobee Road will be closed on Thursday, May 15 and Friday, May 16, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Full closure is necessary to perform bridge work at this location. Traffic will be detoured as follows:

Westbound traffic on NW 36 Street: Travel north on Okeechobee Road, Turn right on SE 9 Avenue to NW 46 Street, Turn left on NW 46 Street to Le JeuneRoad, Turn left on Le JeuneRoad to NW 36 Street

Eastbound traffic on NW 36 Street: Turn left on Royal Poinciana Road to Le Jeune Road, Turn right on Le Jeune Road to Okeechobee Road, Turn right on Okeechobee Road to NW 36 Street
