Prince Field Tot Lot Closure and Maintenance Costs

We're sorry, but the Prince Field Tot Lot Playground is closed and being demolished due to safety issues.  However, a NEW playground is coming soon! For information, call the Rec Department at 305.805.5075.

The safety of our children is our top priority!

The City of Miami Springs has spent approximately $47,374.89 in maintenance costs for the Tot Lot from 10/1/2005 until the present.  This includes a major repair done on March, 2011, costing $23,251.25. For the period from 1996 (when the lot was completed) until 9/30/2005, our system did not break down maintenance costs by areas so we have no way of providing costs for that time period.
