Human Resources

Human Resources administers a comprehensive personnel program that includes: recruitment, selection, wage and salary administration, employee relations and staff development training programs for City employees. The department advises and counsels City employees on personnel matters. Department staff are responsible for general personnel administration, staff and program development and collective bargaining with the union and the administration of the Civil Service System. The department is also involved and responsible for risk management and worker's compensation insurance.
