On March 28th, the final new District Boundary Regulations for the 36th Street District had a second reading and were adopted
by the City Council.
On Monday evening, April 18th, the Revitalization and Redevelopment Ad-Hoc Committee met for the fifth time in the Council chambers.
The following topics were discussed:
1. Input from the individual Committee members as to what they would like to see as to allowable uses in the Tract.
2. Also, input regarding the types of allowable uses in the Airport Golf District and maximum structure height, in order
to preserve the pre-existing character of the area.
3. The City Planner gave briefings on the zoning charateristics of the Parkway Inn Airport Motel and ideas and locations
for possible gateways into Miami Springs along Curtiss Parkway.
The next meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee is scheduled for Monday, May 16th, at 7 pm in the Council Chambers.
At the City Council meeting of April 25th, a work order drafted by Calvin, Giordano for work on the Airport Golf District
Boundary Regulations was presented.
