Storm water contamination is our Number One Priority. The Miami Springs Public Works Department has inspectors out daily monitoring all of the City's storm water infrastructure For illegal discharges.

Examples of illegal discharges include: chemical spills, failing septic systems, overflowing grease traps, leaking trash dumpsters, washing of paint or construction waste, dumping pet waste, motor oil, radiator fluid, cooking oil, hydraulic fluid and car batteries, just to name a few.

If you see any suspicious activity near a storm drain please gather as much information on the offense as possible,  and report the incident to the Miami Springs Police Department 305.888.9711 or to Miami Springs Public Works 305.805.5170.
