For larger gatherings or those requiring a more intimate feel, a Private rental of the Miami Springs Aquatic Center could make the most sense. Private rentals of the Aquatic center ensure that the facility is closed to the general public and only open for your event/guests. A few examples of past Private rentals include: Class graduation parties, photo-shoots, birthday parties, family reunions, and team bonding opportunities.
Dates and times of Private Rentals are limited so as not to interrupt daily operations and access to the general public. If interested in booking a private reservation doing so early is advised. For more information or to discuss availability contact the Aquatic Center at 305-805-5078.
A private rental of the facility provides full use of the pool deck, umbrellas and picnic area. The Cabanas and the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) are available for an additional cost.

Prohibited Items: Glass, Alcohol, Balloons, pinatas, papier-mache, food cooking/heating devices, anything which may cause damage to city property.
Lightning & Inclement weather: The Aquatic Center is equipped with Thorguard (a lightning detection system that measures electricity in the air). In the event of rain the facility will remain open. If a threat of lightning is detected it is signified with a loud audible horn and blinking orange light. Once a threat of lightning has been detected all guests must exit the pool deck and wait in the front entryway, their car or if available the Multi-Purpose Room; no exceptions will be made. Rentals will be pro-rated to accommodate for any lost time.
