The Office of the City Clerk and the City of Miami Springs is hosting and In-Person/ Vitrual Information Session to discuss the upcoming Charter Amendment Ballot Question. Learn about the proposed changes to our City Charter that will appear on the November 5, 2024 General Election ballot. Residents will vote on a key amendment to provide for 4 year terms for Mayor and City Council members, with elections shiftinf from April in odd-numbered years to November in even-numbered years.
This session is your opportunity to ask questions, get informed, and understand how this amendment could shape the future of our local government.
*The meeting has been rescheduled from Monday, October 21st to Wednesday, October 23rd at 6pm in order to increase participation by having a hybrid information session.
