Fabian Perez-Crespo was born in Sleepy Hollow, NY, and grew up in Miami, where he attended public school. He earned a Bachelor's in Journalism and Communications, a Master's in Business Administration (MBA), and a certification in HR Management from Florida International University.
He is an Emmy Award-winning multi-media professional with over 30 years of experience across the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and Brazil. As a former U.S. Federal Government Supervisor at the United States Agency for Global Media, he created content for audiences in Cuba that bypassed censorship. He also earned his Contracting Officer's Representative (FAC-COR) Level I Certification, enabling him to research, budget, and negotiate with vendors and contractors.
He served as the Past President of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and has actively volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and WLRN. He is also a member of the Miami Springs Historical Society and the GFWC Miami Springs Woman’s Club, where he holds the positions of Historian, Co-Chair of the House Committee, and Finance Committee member. Furthermore, he is a Photographer and Staff Writer for the River Cities Gazette, which enables him to interact with residents and visitors of Miami Springs.
In Scouting, Fabian is the Charter Organization Representative between Grace Lutheran Church and Cub Scout Pack 425 and Scout Troop 334, mentors youth as a Merit Badge Counselor, and has earned the Wood Badge leadership award.
As Founder and President of Find Your Focus, he is a Master Certified Life Coach dedicated to helping young adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) discover their purpose and achieve their goals.
Fabian is married to Milly Perez-Crespo, President of the Miami Springs Woman's Club, and they share two children, Fabian Jr., a Sophomore at the Academy for Innovative Education Charter School (AIE) and a Life Scout with Troop 334, and Meris, who graduated from Miami Springs Senior High and is currently studying Marine Biology at FIU; and their beloved stray cat, Mystery.
