4th of July BBQ Competition at Oleta-West Dade Lodge No. 145

Celebrate Independence Day with great food, friendly competition, and community spirit at the Oleta-West Dade Lodge No. 145 4th of July BBQ Competition! The Miami Springs community is invited to enjoy an afternoon of delicious barbecue while supporting a great cause.

From 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026, guests can sample barbecue prepared by competing pitmasters and vote for their favorite team. A $25 BBQ Tasting Ticket includes samples from all competing teams and the opportunity to cast your vote in the competition. Burger and hot dog plates will also be available for a $5 donation, with drinks and chips available separately.

This family-friendly event will be held at 145 South Royal Poinciana Boulevard, Miami Springs, FL 33166, with parking available on-site. The event is alcohol-free, and family-friendly entertainment will be provided outside. Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour the historic Masonic Lodge and learn more about the organization's charitable work and youth programs.

All proceeds benefit the Oleta-West Dade Chapter of DeMolay, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to developing leadership, citizenship, and service among young men.
