Councilwoman Jacky Bravo has learned and witnessed that proper leadership in business as well as in government relations is imperative for the well-being of its constituents. She believes that leaders should carry with them the reasons why many residents choose the City of Miami Springs to raise their families, together with a good quality of life while supporting and representing initiatives that will benefit the residents of our beautiful city for generations to come. She is humbled by the opportunity that the residents of Miami Springs have elected her to City Council allowing her to serve her community.

Councilwoman Bravo is a long-time resident since 1985, attended local schools Springview Elementary, Miami Springs Middle and then graduated from St. Brendan Catholic High School. She is a graduate from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Education and Social Psychology, a devoted mom of two girls, wife, Miami Springs homeowner since 2008, local real estate broker and business owner. She began her civic involvement as a Former Florida Educator in 2006 and an active member of the Miami Springs Woman’s Club since 2019 where she developed more of an inclination for serving her local community. She believes that the principles of integrity and humility is key to all success to achieving results. These instilled values led to a desire to be an advocate for her hometown of Miami Springs. 

Councilwoman Jacky Bravo’s commitment are to represent all constituents and bring forth residents’ concerns and or ideas for the betterment of our community at large. Bravo’s goal for Miami Springs is to help build more council consensus on policies and projects that impact city residents, businesses and the community as a whole. She wants to engage in matters of public safety, municipality code reform, green initiatives and look into smart growth strategies that can help our community achieve economic strength and growth while maintaining Miami Springs small town feel.
