Zoning Verification Letter

To request a Zoning Verification Letter, please fill out the form below and submit it via email to planning@miamisprings-fl.gov

Zoning verification letters outline the zoning laws of any property within city limits in order to help buyers, sellers, and business owners achieve their goals.

There is a fee for each Zoning Verification Letter depending on the use:

$150.00 for Residential and $200.00 for Commercial properties.

This fee is used to offset the staff time involved in gathering and preparing the necessary information.  The following is a general list of information that is included with each letter:

• The Future Land Use designation of the subject property.
• The Zoning District of the subject property.
• A list of permitted uses within the Zoning District.
• Zoning District regulations for the subject property.

The letters do not include information related to building permits or Certificates of Occupancy; for this information contact the Miami Springs Building Department.

Most letters will be completed within 5 business days. The letter can be faxed or the hard copy can be mailed upon request.
