Hurricane Evacuation -List of Shelters- Miami-Dade - Community Center is NOT

Please see attached for a list of shelters in case of an evacuation. 

The Community is NOT a Shelter in case of Evacuations.

We are getting calls from residents that believe the Community Center is a hurricane shelter. It was never built as a shelter for during the storm evacuations. It is also approved as an after the storm shelter. Residents that cannot stay with family and friends at a secure home should proceed to one of the available shelters the County provides. We have a list of shelters online.
