Route 42 Metrobus Route Cancellation

Effective Sunday, June 19th, 2016, Miami-Dade County Metrobus route 42A in Miami Springs has been discontinued. Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works personnel have stated that this was necessary in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall regional transit system, and was determined due to very low ridership on the Miami Springs section, and the existing municipal trolley providing local coverage.
