J.C. Jimenez was first voted as the City Manager for the City of Miami Springs on July 20, 2023.
Prior to joining Miami Springs, J.C. served as the Town Manager of the Town of Pembroke Park since June 1, 2020. He also served as the Town Manager for the Town of Bay Harbor Islands since 2018, as well as serving as the Assistant Town Manager for the Town of Bay Harbor Islands from 2002 until 2018.
He began his public service career in 1999 as an intern at the Village of Key Biscayne and advanced to Administrative Assistant to the Village Manager.
J.C. holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Public Administration from Florida International University. In 2017, he obtained the Credentialed Manager designation from the International City Managers Association (ICMA).
