As of the census of 2020, there were 13,859 people, 5,245 households, and 3,437 families residing in the city. There were 5,361 housing units, with a 94.4% occupancy rate. The racial makeup of the city was 81.3% White (19.6% were Non-Hispanic White,), 1.8% African American, , 1.1% Asian,  1.9% from other races, and 12.7% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 77.7% of the population.

Out of 5,245 households, 34.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.8% were married couples living together, 14% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.1% were non-families. 26.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.61 and the average family size was 3.26.

In the city the population was spread out with 27.6% under the age of 18, 5.6% from 20 to 24, 25.5% from 25 to 44, 29.8% from 45 to 64, and 16.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42.5 years. 44.4% was male, and 55.6% was female.The median income for a household in the city was $65,910, and the median income for a family was $75,575. Males had a median income of $50,399 versus $36,190 for females. The per capita income for the city was $29,401. About 5.4% of families and 7.5% of the population were below the poverty line, including 8.7% of those under age 18 and 4.9% of those age 65 or over.

As of 2020, speakers of Spanish as a first language made up 66.7% of residents, while English accounted for 30.6% of the population. Other languages spoken as a mother tongue were 2.7% of residents.

As of 2020, 56.4% of residents were born in the U.S., and 43.6 were foreign-born.
