Dead Animal Retrieval

The City of Miami Springs is a bird sanctuary and is home to many species of wildlife both native and exotic. Unfortunately many become casualties of motorists who are unfamiliar to our city streets and are unaware of our ever increasing animal population. The Public Works Department has specially trained personnel to handle the removal of wildlife that may or may not have fallen victim to motorists, and now lay lifeless in our city streets and swales.

The Public Works staff DOES NOT remove animals dead or alive from private property.

To report a dead animal in the city streets or right-of-ways, please call 305-805-5170 ext. 0, between the hours of 7a.m. and 3p.m.
