Cabanas ( 16x16 )

Cabana rentals are setup in 4-hour blocks. However, you can add additional time if available based on hours of operation that given day. This can be decided on the day of the rental. However, we don't rent the cabanas within 30 minutes of opening/closing. As this is the time allotted for setting up and cleaning up of the party.

Food and drinks are allowed. Keep in mind the Aquatic Center is a family friendly atmosphere, so alcoholic beverages and glass are not permitted. Their presence if found will constitute a removal from the facility or forfeiture of security deposit. All food must be cooked prior to the party, as no open flame is permitted on property. Pizza, sandwiches, chips and cake are all very common party items. For the items that will stain such as cake and pizza, we ask that you eat them in our picnic area to prevent damage/staining of furniture. 

In the event of rain, the facility is still open, and you can still have your party. However, if the Thorguard (Lightning detection system/flashing yellow light at parks and City buildings) sounds then we cannot have anyone on the pool deck or under any cabanas. In the event the Thorguard has detected an electrical storm all guests would need to wait in the front foyer area or in their cars until we are clear to reopen. If a party is interrupted by the Thorguard, we will charge on a prorated basis, meaning if you got 2 hours of a 4 hour party we will only charge you half. If the party couldn't happen as a result of the weather we will offer a full refund or reschedule. With that said, if a party is cancelled within 72 hours without good reason and we could have rented the cabana, 50% of the deposit will be held per City Policy. 

In the rare occasion the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) is open during a lightning even, you will have the option to upgrade your party to the room and pay the difference in rental. Discounts aren't applied to such a move as the MPR is intended nad priced as a standalone rental room without access to the pool included into its rental cost. If you elect to upgrade to the MPR and the weather clears you will still have access to swim in the pool.
