Our City Clerk's Office offers convenient and efficient notary services to meet your document authentication needs. Whether you're finalizing real estate transactions, executing legal documents, or notarizing affidavits, our notaries are here to assist you.
How to Get Notary Services:
- Visit Our Offices at 201 Westward Drive, 2nd Floor anytime Monday-Friday from 8 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. for in-person services
- Bring Valid Picture ID to ensure identity verification
- Payment for notary services are free for residents of Miami Springs and Virginia Gardens, and $2.00 per notary seal for non-residents
Please note:
- Documents must be signed in front of the notary
- Our offices can provide witness signatures if needed
- We do not offer online/electronic notarization or home/place of business visits
- We can not certify a vital record (Birth/Death certificate, Marriage Certificate, etc) as this is done through the Florida Department of Health
- We are not Apostilles, Apostilles for the State of Florida are only issued at 2415 N. Monroe Street, Suite 810 Tallahassee, FL 32303 by the Division of Corporations.
Pursuant to Section 117.05(14), Florida Statutes, we make reasonable accommodations to provide notarial services to persons with disabilities.
A notary may refuse to perform a notarization*, it is up to the notary to make the final decision regarding a notarization. The situations in which a notary must refuse are set forth in the Florida Statutes sections 117.05 and 117.107.
*The two most common reason for rejection in our Offices are:
- A document is already signed when brought to the notary (All signatures must be done in front of the notary)
- The document lacks a proper notary block for the notary's information
