FortifyFL: Report Suspicious Activity to Help Keep Our Schools Safe

FORTIFY FL

See Something. Say Something.

The safety of our students, teachers, and school communities is everyone's responsibility. FortifyFL is a free, statewide suspicious activity reporting tool that allows students, parents, school staff, and community members to quickly and securely report safety concerns directly to the appropriate school officials and law enforcement agencies.

Reports can be submitted instantly through the FortifyFL mobile app or website and may include concerns about potential school violence, threats, suspicious behavior, bullying, or other activities that could impact school safety.

FortifyFL was created by the Florida Legislature as part of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act. The program was developed through a partnership between the Florida Department of Education, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), and the Florida Office of the Attorney General to provide a fast, reliable way to report concerns before they become emergencies.

Help Protect Our Schools

By reporting suspicious or concerning behavior, you can play an important role in preventing violence and keeping Florida's schools safe.

FortifyFL allows you to:

  • Report suspicious or threatening activity quickly.
  • Submit tips directly to the appropriate school officials and law enforcement agencies.
  • Help prevent potential acts of violence before they occur.
  • Support a safer learning environment for students, teachers, and staff.

If you witness an emergency or an immediate threat to life, call 911 immediately. FortifyFL is designed for reporting suspicious activity and safety concerns that require follow-up but are not active emergencies.

Together, we can help create safer schools for every student.
