The Miami Springs Police Department now provides official letters certifying your local criminal record status. These local checks are often needed for employment, volunteering, housing applications, licensing, etc.
No appointment is required, just come by the Miami Springs Police Department located at 201 Westward Drive, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 AM - 4 PM excluding city observed holidays. Make sure to bring government issued photo identification such as a driver's license, passport etc. After producing your government identification, your identity will be reviewed and you will receive a police verified background check letter. The fee for this service is $25.00. Please note these clearance letters are not for immigration purposes.
