Miami Springs Employees COVID Return to Work Protocol

Effective Mar. 18, 2024, the City updated its COVID-19 return-to-work protocol.

Here is a summary of the new policy:

• Individuals who have contracted COVID-19 are no longer required to isolate for five days.
• City employees who are sick with COVID-19 should refrain from returning to work until at least 24 hours after their symptoms have improved and are fever-free without the use of fever-reducing medications.
• This policy applies not only to COVID-19 but also to other respiratory illnesses, such as the flu.
