Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behaviors used to maintain power and control over a family or household member. Dating violence as defined by Florida Statute§ 784.046(1)(d) means violence between individuals who have or have had a continuing and significant relationship of a romantic or intimate nature.  Florida Statute 784.046 also includes sexual violence, repeat violence, and stalking.
